Here you will discover helpful hints and tips on how to build tonality and depth. The useful harmonised colour palettes offer a more realistic result. So with the guidebook in hand just open your coloured pencils, inks or watercolours and start creating. Or . . . you can simply let your imagination run with your own style.

Your World of Antiquity Templates:
Each unique Art Template comes in two preparation states:

A TRACE template which you can print out on quality paper 150gsm (hand feed) up to A3. Perfect for coloured pencils and coloured inks.

A STENCIL template which you can print out on heavier paper/card (if your printer can accommodate it) for gouache and watercolours.

It is recommended to use a pad of water colour paper: sized A4 or A3.

Both Template states are specially prepared to give you gentle shadow guides and shaping for highlights, for example, hair strands and facial tones. You can also use multiple template stencils of the same subject to cut out sections in order to lay in gold leaf or metallic films & inks to jewell your creations!
If you have a light box you can trace the design onto the paper in your own hand - selecting how much of the picture you wish to use. Try combining more than one template to form your own designs.
